Memurubu

Memurubu with its idyllic location by Gjende, is situated in the heart of Jotunheimen National Park. Midway between Gjendesheim and Gjendebu, with Besseggen and Bukkelægret on each side.

Today's tourist lodge is the result of ongoing improvements and modernizations, and has become one of the most modern sleeping places in Jotunheimen. Memurubu have a total of 150 beds divided in rooms with 2, 3, 4 and 5 beds and dorm rooms with 8 to 13 beds. In the newest building you will find 12 family rooms accommodating a total of 38 people. All rooms have high standard with shower and toilet. In the main building you will also find a common room with balcony. Memurubu is suited for family and corporate gatherings. In the outdoor surroundings there is a big and comfortable camp site for those wishing to stay overnight in tents. In the mountain restaurant we serve breakfast and three-course dinner for everyone, both our sleeping guests and to those who come by for a good meal. In our mountain cafe, with panoramic views of the mountains and Gjende, we offer good drinks and snacks.
