City Bike Rental

Bikes for shorter and longer trips around the town and in the vicinity. Read the information below to find the correct bike size for you Suitable also for long trips if you wish to have a bike with adjustable handle bar and sitting upright position.

City bikes offer more upright sitting position, wider seat, wider tires and a bit heavier construction in compare to the touring – trekking bikes.
Tromsø Outdoor offers city bikes Merida Finse 1222 Lite with Lady and Gentlemen frame size 41, 46, 51 and 56cm.

Bikes are equipped with
- mud fenders
- one water bottle holder
- rear luggage rack
- stand
- bike computer

In addition you can rent
- bike bags: rear, front and for handle bar (lowrider and handle bar holder follow)
- bike cargo and child trailers
- after bike
- bike racks for car hook

You can also order hotel delivery, hotel pick up of the bikes in Tromsø and transfer of the bikes along the coast between Kirkenes and Bergen.

When you rent the bike: a helmet, bicycle lock, repair set with patch kit, necessary keys for adjustments, replacement tube, pump, lights mounted on the helmet, reflective vest are included.

It is usually possible to ride a bike one size up or down from ideal:
41 cm - user height 155 - 165 cm
46 cm - user height 160 - 175 cm
51 cm - user height 165 - 180 cm
56 cm - user height 170 - 190+ cm
